About the event
Together, they established Patiné Cellars in 2011. The name “Patiné,” which translates to “to have skated,” perfectly encapsulates the essence of winemaking, emphasizing the need for structure, power, grace, and balance. Dean is the proprietor of the label and welcomed Elizabeth Dea as director of operations and an equity partner in 2021. Patine original vintages strictly featured Pinot Noir, but have since broadened the selection to include other varietals, such as a French-style Sangiacomo Vineyard Chardonnay and a beautiful Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
